Take Action

You, as part of the Lawyers for Yes movement, have a crucial role to play now in supporting the Uluru Statement from the Heart, and advocating for an Indigenous Voice to Parliament and for a successful referendum.

To ensure the referendum on an Indigenous Voice to Parliament is successful, we will need to speak to our colleagues and our profession, quell the doubts in our communities, and show people that every step towards reconciliation is a step towards justice, self – determination and for the benefit of all Australians.

We invite you to get involved in any way that you can. Whether you want to volunteer your time, donate to the campaign or use your voice and skills to simply spread the word, your support is essential. Don’t wait for permission to take action – start now.

Below are some ideas for action you can take immediately.
